We at Minalinka love our horses.

WHAT IS MINALINKA STUD

Minalinka is a place you can safely agist your horses to spell and enjoy large open paddocks and areas where they can easily breeze out to full gallop letting their tails fly. Our property is set up for mostly open paddock agistment where horses can interact their natural ways and enjoy the quiet life. We are situated at the base of the coastal inland ranges of the Budawang and Currockbilly Mountain just a short drive 18 km NE out of Braidwood, 45mins to Bungandore, 60 mins to Batemans Bay and 75mins to Canberra.

ABOUT US

Minalinka Stud is 93 acres of paddock, trees and tallpines and an ideal place for horses to roam and relax in shared paddocks or yards if required.

The farm is located as the base on the Budawang National Park and mountains at around 680m.  

HORSE CARE

Our experienced handlers feed and monitor all the horses under agistment on our farm to ensure their health and welfare is always a priority. Rotational grazing and hard feeding is carried out daily and special client requirements can be catered for.

OUR LOCATION

Drive into Braidwood coming from Canberra and turn left at the Anzac War Memorial at Wilson St next to the park. Click your trip meter and drive 18.1 KM on this road until you reach the Bondola entry driveway gate.

Wilson St blends to Little River road that blends to Charleys Forest Rd, Charleys Forest, NSW 2622.

OFF THE TRACK - MAGNIFICENT ANIMALS

We are always on the look out for larger horses over 17 hands being either Thoroughbreds and / or Standard bred for retraining. If you are looking for a larger horse, check with us as to what stock we may have at the time. Our aim is to produce responsive, seasoned, disciplined horses with a relaxed persona that can then be further enhanced by our clients ongoing equine education.

Breeding Sports Horses

Minalinka also breeds Thoroughbreds and Stock horses depending on the Broodmares we are working with at the time. Stallions are chosen to pass favoured traits to our mares that are also carrying a positive history. Foals produced are then basic trained to halter and travel. Our yearlings are generally sold into the sporting fields to hopefully achieve fame and success for their owners. Minalinka vets our sales to ensure that all our offspring go to caring trainers and sports riders.

Teamwork
